Anita Systems AS was founded in Oslo in 2017. We develop Anita Dental in close collaboration with dental professionals, from large clinic groups to single-practitioner clinics.
More than 130 clinics have adopted Anita Dental since the first pilot in 2019. That is a cumulative adoption figure, including clinics that no longer use the system. More than 2,600 users work with our products as of October 2026.
Clinical experience informs the development
The product brings together clinical records, appointment management, finances and the patient experience. The team develops the system continuously and delivers updates centrally, with the release notes available inside Anita Dental.
Our approach starts with what the clinic needs to get done: accurate records, clear handovers, reliable appointments and patient follow-up. New features are developed around that everyday work.
Ownership and long-term development
Anita Systems is owned by Orbdent, which operates four dental clinics in Oslo and focuses on international growth. Anita Systems develops software for dental clinics, with product development shaped by collaboration across its customer base.
The professional community around Anita
Clinic teams meet through Anita training days, courses and Anita Awards. We are bringing the professional programme together under the name Anita Academy, which is under development. A launch date and programme are not announced here.
