Developed by Anita Systems AS in Oslo, Anita Dental runs in the browser on PC, Mac, tablet and mobile. The clinical record needs no local journal server. Connected equipment may have its own software requirements. Updates are delivered centrally, so the team always works in the current version.

Choose a treatment macro from the dental chart to prefill treatments, tariffs, materials and standard clinical text. Prices come from the clinic's active price list. Use shared clinic macros or your own personal ones, adjust the entries for the patient and save.

Recall, the waitlist, treatment plans, tasks and macros work within Anita Dental, alongside the patient record and appointment book. Less repeated entry gives the team more time for patients.
Fill cancelled slots from one waiting list
See patients who would prefer an earlier appointment and those waiting without a booking in one panel in the appointment book. Check their preferred clinician and appointment duration, then choose who suits the available slot. The earlier-appointment flag clears automatically when the booking is moved.
Give every follow-up a clear owner
Assign tasks with a deadline, priority and patient link. The colleague receives a notification in real time, while comments, attachments and history stay with the task through to completion. SFM prescription tasks appear in the same list, reducing the number of places the team needs to check.
From booking to payment
MyAnita is the patient portal. Patients can see appointments, book a visit and review treatment plans. Careform: Digital health questionnaire collects health information before the appointment and brings the answers into the record. Anita Resepsjonist supports self check-in and card payment on a tablet at the clinic.
Make treatment and costs easier to agree on
Build treatment plans and estimates from the clinical record, with prices, HELFO reimbursement and the patient's share calculated automatically. Patients review and approve the plan in MyAnita using BankID or Vipps; approval is saved with digital signature evidence. Offer alternative plans and follow each patient's response in Anita Dental. With a separate Resurs agreement, the clinic can also offer financing.
Built for Norwegian dental practice
HELFO reimbursement claims and NAV sick-leave reporting connect directly through Buypass, without a Norsk Helsenett connection as an intermediary. Electronic prescribing uses SFM, Norway's central prescribing module. Kjernejournal integration is currently indirect through SFM; direct integration is coming soon. Clinics can also use Power BI reporting alongside AnitaPuls.
Prescribe from the patient record with SFM
Create and send electronic prescriptions through Sentral forskrivningsmodul without leaving the record. Medication information comes through SFM, and prescription follow-up tasks appear alongside the clinic's other tasks in Anita Dental.
Keep the imaging system your team knows
Anita Dental integrates with established dental imaging systems, including Onepix, Romexis, Carestream, Myray, iRys, Sidexis, Visiquick, Vistasoft and i-Dixel / Morita. The integration can open your imaging software on the correct patient. Onepix images can also be retrieved and viewed in Anita, and images can be uploaded to a patient's record. We discuss the setup for your particular imaging system during onboarding.

The transition starts with a demo and a trial account, followed by team training, data migration where supported, and support. You can try the system before entering into an agreement.
